Nestled on the shores in a picturesque
Hidden Bay on Magic Lake, our lovely cottage is an ideal escape for a
honeymoon, romance, an anniversary or special occassion, a weekend
getaway, rest and relaxation, or and extended island vacation. Kick
back and relax or seek some local adventure, kayaking, whale watching,
sailing, beach combing, golfing or exploring our lovely island.
Many of these activities are just minutes from Magic Lake. We can accomodate persons who are challenged or physically disabled with a number of services and easy room access. Our accommodations are non-smoking.

Pender Island is located between
Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia in the southern Gulf Islands.
We are also just a short hop from the San Juan Islands in Washington
State. North Pender Island is easily accessible by car - ferry, float
plane or boat. Recently huge tracks of land were set aside as a National
Park by the Federal Government to protect the incredible natural settings,
the animals and sea life that make our Gulf Islands so special. We
are minutes away from one of those National Parks.

While at Reflections on the Lake you can make the most of your holiday by making use of the watercraft available for your use. Reflections has an aluminum boat, a canoe and a two-person sailboat for your use. Magic Lake is a small, quiet protected lake where you can fish or just cruise the lake and enjoy the peace and tranquility and absorb the sounds in this bird watching paradise.

Your adventures
on Pender Island will surely thrill you as you observe seals, eagles,
osprey, otters, and the magnificent Orcas that often cruise our Pender
coastline. You can enjoy walking or beachcombing on one or Penders
many beaches.

We are an Earth Friendly Business:
We have 80 canes of heritage rapberries, two Italian prune plum trees, a pear tree and a gravenstein apple tree and we make jams, chuutney and other products
for our guests. More plantings are forthcoming.
We have also planted a deep blue foliage butterfly tree to attract butterflies.
We also have a garden on site and use our local products for our guests.
We use lake water and rain water for our plants and use no week or moss killers.
We use ashes from the firestove to clean the glass door to save using chemical sprayers.
Our grocery deliveries come in cardboard boxes and not plastic.
We dry sheets on outside clotheslines, weather permitting. |
